Fit and weld piping assemblies, spools, and structural supports in a fab shop environment

Maintain strict adherence to API, ASME, and other industry-specific codes and standards

Conduct visual inspections and work closely with QC personnel to ensure weld quality

Operate welding and fabrication tools safely and efficiently

Collaborate with supervisors and project leads to meet production goals and deadlines

Follow all shop and industry safety procedures, including PPE and safe work practices




Requirements:

Must pass a 6G or position-specific weld test (typically TIG root + Stick or TIG all the way out)

Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Must have a valid OSHA 10 certification (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred

Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience in Oil & Gas fabrication or industrial settings

Strong working knowledge of Oil & Gas standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, API 1104, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, spool sheets, and isometric drawings

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance




Preferred Qualifications:

NCCER, ASME, or API welding certifications

Experience welding high-pressure and/or sour service piping systems

Familiarity with preheat/post-weld heat treatment procedures

Previous work in midstream or downstream Oil & Gas environments

Responsibilities:

Weld structural braces and supports to machinery for skid-mounted transport.

Interpret and follow blueprints, welding diagrams, and project specifications.

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as needed based on job requirements.

Inspect welds for accuracy, structural soundness, and conformance to project standards.

Operate hand and power tools related to welding and fabrication.

Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA standards.

Assist in moving, positioning, and securing equipment using shop cranes, hoists, or forklifts as required.




Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in structural or heavy industrial welding.

Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Must pass a weld test.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Must pass a criminal background check.

OSHA 10 required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.




Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certification or equivalent welding credentials.

Experience welding on oilfield, industrial, or modular skid equipment.
