Duties/Responsibilities: 

• 
  Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures. 
  
• 
  Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. 
  
• 
  Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. 
  
• 
  Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them. 
  
• 
  Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.  
  
• 
  Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. 
  
• 
  Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. 
  
• 
  Replaces conduit and wiring as needed. 
  
• 
  Replaces circuit breakers as needed. 
  
• 
  Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  Ability to read blueprints.

  Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

Education and Experience:

This role involves performing conduit layout, installation of elbows in industrial slabs, and terminating power feeds up to 1000 amps in compliance with NEC codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Install and secure Robroy (PVC-coated rigid steel) conduit including precision bends and elbows within industrial concrete slab pours.
  
• 
  Lay out and measure conduit runs per blueprints and site plans, ensuring proper spacing, routing, and elevations.
  
• 
  Pull, terminate, and install conductors for 480V, 1000A power feeds to equipment and distribution points.
  
• 
  Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and construction plans.
  
• 
  Perform load calculations and verify correct sizing of conductors, conduits, and overcurrent protection.
  
• 
  Work closely with foremen, engineers, and other trades to coordinate installation sequencing and support slab prep schedules.
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and site-specific safety protocols.
  
• 
  Conduct continuity and insulation resistance testing prior to energization.
  
• 
  Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 
  5+ years of industrial electrical experience, including conduit installation in concrete and high-voltage wiring.
  
• 
  Proven experience working with Robroy conduit and 480V systems up to 1000A.
  
• 
  Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety procedures.
  
• 
  Experience operating benders, threaders, and other electrical tools.
  
• 
  OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  Must have basic PPE and tools; employer may provide specialized PPE as required.
