Overview VPA is hiring a Junior Electrical Engineer to support power, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role supports senior engineering staff with calculations, drafting oversight, design reviews, and construction support. Responsibilities
Assist with load calculations, wiring diagrams, equipment sizing, and grounding studies.
Support development of single-line diagrams, panel schedules, electrical plans, and cable routing.
Perform field verifications, site surveys, and as-built updates.
Coordinate with designers, project managers, and construction teams.
Research code requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
0–3+ years of experience.
Understanding of NEC, NFPA, and electrical theory.
Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
Preferred
Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or power-generation environments.
