Overview VPA is hiring a Structural Engineer to support analysis and design of steel structures, foundations, equipment supports, and industrial building systems for heavy industrial clients. Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and prepare calculation packages for steel, concrete, and equipment structures.
Develop foundation plans, anchor bolt layouts, and steel detailing markups.
Support seismic, wind, and dynamic load calculations.
Review structural drawings, vendor prints, and shop drawings.
Conduct field assessments and structural inspections.
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Structural or Civil Engineering.
5–10+ years of structural design experience.
Proficiency with STAAD, RISA, or similar software.
Strong understanding of AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, and industrial structural standards.
Preferred
Industrial power plants, data centers, manufacturing, or EPC experience.
