Overview VPA seeks an Electrical Designer skilled in developing drawings and models for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and industrial systems. Responsibilities
Create 2D/3D electrical designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Develop and update one-lines, schematics, conduit layouts, cable schedules, and routing plans.
Produce construction-ready drawing packages.
Support engineering teams with redlines, markups, and as-built revisions.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
Requirements
3–7 years of electrical design experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit or BIM experience highly preferred.
Understanding of NEC and common industrial electrical components.
Preferred
Experience in power plants, data centers, or heavy industrial facilities.
