About the Role: VPA is seeking a highly skilled Owner’s Representative to travel and support a cutting-edge panelized construction product and oversee electrical installations for advanced facility projects around the US. This individual will serve as a key liaison between the client and project stakeholders, ensuring electrical scope execution, quality, and schedule adherence throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site Owner’s Representative, ensuring construction activities align with client goals, specifications, and timelines.
Oversee and coordinate electrical scope of work from pre-construction through commissioning.
Collaborate with project engineers, fabricators, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to manage panel product integration and site installation.
Conduct field inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality assurance.
Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and schedules; proactively manage issues and propose solutions.
Support commissioning and turnover activities, ensuring all systems meet design intent and operational readiness.
Represent the Owner’s interest during construction meetings, inspections, and closeout documentation.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in construction management with a strong focus on electrical systems.
Background in mission critical environments such as data centers, clean rooms, or high-tech manufacturing facilities.
Proven experience coordinating with engineering and trade contractors on fast-paced construction projects.
Familiarity with NEC, safety standards, and best practices in electrical construction.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with modular or panelized construction methods.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (active or previously held) a plus.
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
