We are seeking skilled Medium Voltage MV Technicians to support the installation of medium-voltage terminations for machinery in a data center environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with cold shrink installations, precise semicon cutting, switchgear operations including relays and breakers. This role requires the ability to follow instructions from the lead technician and later execute tasks independently with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Install medium-voltage cable terminations in a data center environment.
Perform cold shrink installations and ensure proper cable preparation.
Carefully cut the semicon layer without damaging underlying conductors.
Work with switchgear, transformers, relays, breakers and medium-voltage equipment to ensure proper integration.
Adhere to safety protocols, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
Follow detailed instructions from the lead technician, then transition to working independently.
Troubleshoot and resolve installation and connectivity issues.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports on completed work.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as an MV Technician, preferably in a data center or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of medium-voltage terminations.
Hands-on experience with cold shrink techniques and semicon cutting.
Familiarity with switchgear operations and medium-voltage safety procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Work in an industrial data center setting with medium-voltage equipment.
Must be comfortable working in tight spaces and heights.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions.

Must have own tools and transportation
Ability to travel as needed for installations.
OSHA 10 Certification
